How do I leave a room?

To leave the room:

• Click on the three dots in Room’s interface > Select Leave Room.

• Once you leave, you will no longer receive messages or notifications from that room.

• Leave Room option is also available in Room info.

Note: For active rooms, we don’t recommend leaving if you’re the admin without first assigning someone else as admin. This ensures the room remains manageable for other participants.

How do I delete a room?

You can't manually delete a room in Keet at the moment. However, a room becomes effectively forgotten and inaccessible when all members leave and there are no active invites remaining.

If you're the last admin in a room, you'll see a warning:

To proceed, you'll need to check a confirmation box before leaving. This ensures you’re aware that the room will no longer be usable once abandoned.
